This room was not part of the original home.  The doorway that leads into the Sun Room was a window when we purchased the home in 1984, and there was no window where the one over the sink in the kitchen opens into the Sun Room.  We had decided to build a garden room at the same time we replaced the old single carport and utility room with a double garage and storage areas.

The area served as a true garden room for awhile, since the present garage was first just a carport--so the windows in the north end of the carport added light that combined with windows on the exposed west and south sides of the room.  And the hot tub was originally located in this room.

But over time, as we needed more space for the B&B, we decided to convert this area into a bedroom, going into the garage storage area to create the Sun Room bath.

Truly a sun room with lots of windows, the plants on the inside as well as those outside make this room quite inviting. A decorative old queen size iron bed is the focal point. Wicker furniture graces the area and the adjoining bath with tub-shower carries out the pink and aqua color scheme. This is the largest bedroom and has numerous stained glass hangings.
